David J. Dybdahl, CPCU, ARM, MBA David Dybdahl is widely recognized for his expertise in the area of environmental risk management. He has served on the United States Environmental Protection Agency's Contractor Indemnification Technical Review Panel and provided technical information on environmental insurance issues to the United States Department of Defense and Department of Energy. In his 25 year career he has successfully placed insurance programs on many of the world's toughest environmental risks including developing the first environmental insurance policies for Superfund contractors, placing the first wrap up insurance programs on the US Department of Energy's nuclear weapons facilities at Hanford, Washington and Oak Ridge, Tennessee and insuring the remediation of Chernobyl. He is a frequent speaker and has published numerous articles in journals and textbooks. David is the contributing author on Environmental Risk Management and Insurance in the prestigious CPCU and ARMR professional designation courses and the professional errors and omissions loss control manual for the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America.

Robert N. Rosenfeld, PhD, CPCU Robert N. Rosenfeld specializes in risk management consulting and insurance brokering for clients whose transactions or operations are impacted by environmental issues. He has 15 years of experience in the management of environmental liabilities associated with real property acquisitions and divestitures, mergers and acquisitions, redevelopment and remediation projects, and the operation of manufacturing, bio-tech, petrochemical and waste management facilities. Mr. Rosenfeld has been a leader in the application of quantitative models for structuring projects and asset/liability valuation in the presence of environmental risk factors. He speaks regularly to trade and professional groups on environmental risk management and insurance topics. Mr. Rosenfeld has broad experience in the environmental industry and has served as chief executive of an environmental consulting and engineering firm. As a tenured member of the faculty of the University of California, where he trained graduate students and managed research and development programs in chemical physics and environmental science. |

Ron Anderson specializes in underwriting transactions for environmental risks. In his 30 year career of underwriting environmental insurance he has developed extensive insight into the customs and practices if the insurance company and insurance brokerage interface. His underwriting and environmental claims experience spans thousands of accounts from Underground Storage Tanks to nuclear bomb plants. He pioneered the development of the Contractor’s Pollution Liability policy which has become the blueprint for many similar policies. In addition he designed the rating systems and coverage forms for Contractor’s Pollution Liability, Underground Storage Tanks and Errors and Omissions. He also underwrote the first Superfund Contractors and Insurance Wrap Ups program and also created Wrap Ups for Department of Energy Weapons Facility. During his career he opened the first field environmental underwriting office for AIG and also a regional underwriting office for Zurich. |
